Troop 677 Information

Scoutmaster: Mr. Allan Geller

Assistant Scoutmaster: Dr. Steve Hayashi

Troop 677 was founded in 1993 and is made up of Scouts from Issaquah and Sammamish, WA. Current 2008 membership is 47 scouts.

Troop meetings are held on the lower level of Mary Queen of Peace Church at:

1121 228th Avenue SE, Sammamish, WA 98075

It is located on the Sammamish Plateau across the street from Skyline High School.

Troop meetings are at 6:30 p.m. on Monday nights when school is in session, and last until 8:00 p.m. Parents are encouraged to attend. There are no meetings during the summer or on school holidays.

The first meeting of each month is a planning session for Troop leaders only.


Troop 677 is an active troop. From 2005 - 2010 the troop had:

72 camping events.

37 hiking trips, many of which were "50 Mile" events.

151 community service events.

9 canoeing events.

236 rank advancements.

885 merit badges were earned and awarded.


Since troop inception 50 Scouts earned and were awarded the rank of Eagle Scout.
